One had to select three Japanese Haiku poems and interpret them into 2D or 3D motion graphics. A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. The poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. Each of the three pieces could be different but needed to be part of the same style visually.
The Haiku poems which I chose, were abstract in the way they were written, so I decided to translate these poems into even more abstract motion graphic pieces. For this brief, I challenged myself and only made use of 3D renders from the software Cinema 4D to create the pieces.
